Meet Our Adventurers
Assistant Branch Manager, Amanda Williams, is playing as Dru'ine Qinrel. A Dark Elf Ranger, born into the royal family of Menzoberranzan, living as an outlander in the woods. After a tragic night, her and her sister Ventress were cast out of Menzoberranzan and left on their own. They stuck together in the city helping each other survive for many years. But five years ago, Dru went off on her own to live a more simple life. She taught herself the art of archery to hunt for food, but also to get revenge. Just in time too because the rumor is her nemesis is coming to Eiselcroft.
Ventress Qinrel, older sister to Dru'ine, is the Dark Elf Rogue character of Assistant Branch Manager, Amanda Gomez. After Ventress and Dru parted ways 5 years ago, Ventress has been trying to pay off her gambling debts to Xander. She often finds herself doing some unsavory tasks for money. She's somewhat of a nomad with no real home just moving from place to place Her greatest desire is to clear her debts and live in solitude and dry socks because she absolutely hates wet socks!
Library Information Service Specialist, Mitch Guinto, is playing
Mordok Swifthand, a Goliath Monk from the Diir’Frost Peaks. Born of a proud and
rich family heritage, the young goliath grew up looking forward to becoming a great warrior like his parents. He wanted to make them proud, to make a
difference in his clan. Little did he know the part that the hand of fate would play
in granting his dreams and wishes. After receiving his Calling, Mordok
traveled far and wide to meet his master. Weeks passed while the monk in training
learned the trade of his craft. From martial training to meditation techniques,
Mordok grew in power and confidence. However, tragedy struck one night
and Mordok was left masterless and alone with a great burden placed upon his
shoulders. He now travels to Eiselcroft to find the answers to the secrets he’s
uncovered, determined to be a harbinger of justice.
Cordelia Moonglade, played by Library Customer Service
Specialist Melissa Barger, is a Tiefling Druid with dusty mauve hair, with
mossy green eyes, and skin that is pale grey with a light blue tint that can be
seen in the light of the moon and sun. She has a tail similar to that of a
stingray and teeth like a shark. Out of her forehead, she has a rod that glows
just like that of an angler fish. A few years ago, she
woke up washed up on a shore with zero recollection of who she is and where she
came from. All she knows is that the sea calls to
her and that the weird markings on her back light up when she comes close to
the water. Sea treasures collect in her home as she is unable to pass shells,
wares, and other things that wash up from the sea without picking them up. Is
she truly a Tiefling or maybe she’s a siren?
Library Assistant, Miguel Garcia, is playing the orphaned Human Bard known as Grimes, named after the tavern he was abandoned in and raised by it's criminal patrons. Armed with his ocarina, Grimes learned to swindle and con the rich in order to survive the streets he calls home. It was here that he met Andrias, the man who would take him from being a swindler on the streets to a master of trickery. Noticing his aptitude for song, Andrias also gifted him a lute and taught him the tales of old. Grimes learned the ways of forgery and finally found a home with Andrias until one fateful day when he suffered a bitter betrayal from Andrias who would not only take his money, but his eye.
Enka Arokdii is the Dragonborn Barbarian character of Library Passport Service Assistant, Inez Olivas. Enka has seen a lot of battle and was heavily involved in the Wyrms' war before suffering an unfortunate defeat and forced to go into hiding although she continued to fight against the Church while avoiding capture. She has spent the last five years trying to infiltrate Eiselcroft to find Father Gallahad. Killing has never been anything that Enka has had trouble doing, but she has started to consider ways to be discriminate with the people she kills. Choosing instead to kill only those in power and allowing their minions to live. She never kills innocent bystanders.
Ale Perez, Library Assistant, is playing Aster Nyx, a Tiefling Cleric, raised in a cult until the cult was forced to part ways after the death of their deity. Aster was left orphaned and taken in by the church. At 20 years old, she has learned Divine Magic just like the church wanted, but she does not follow all the teachings of the church. She was sent to work with the patrol where she learned that she can hear the dead, but she has yet to gain control over this power.
Druid Forest Gnome, Blu is 3 1/2 feet tall, weighs 40 lbs. and has lived 225 years. This feisty Gnome is played by Library Information Service Specialist, Ashley Herrera. Blu awoke one day when she was 40 in a strange bed to find that she could not remember who she was or where she came. She had a guardian, whom she knew only by Jo, who helped to guide her while she was dazed and confused from her memory loss. Until one day he went out and never came back. Blu has lived alone since in seclusion only coming out for a good drink, meal, or a good betting game.
Lily Ortiz, library volunteer, is playing Lilith, a young Dark Elf Sorceress who grew up alone, abandoned in the Underdark. She was raised by other Elves who were in hiding, outcast from society. Here is where she learned that she had special abilities and a Sorcerer took a special interest in her. He helped her hone and develop her abilities.
Session 2
Session 2:
The group travels
north along the coastal road toward Stihlbend. Blu and Cordelia travel by horse the rest of
group are in the wagon getting to know each other. For some reason the fields
are dying but the group doesn’t know why. The day is winding to an end they put
up camp for the night. The sky is full of the Arcane Weave (think aurora
borealis). In this weave there is a dragon flying in and out of the distance
above the Diir’frost peaks. Later that night Mordok gets alerted by the horses that
there is something lurking nearby. There is a pack of Kruthiks one of which
that is larger than the rest. The group makes light work of the Kruthiks. Blu,
Mordok, and Ven’tress take some damage from the little buggers. The group takes
the rest of the night to heal and sleep. The next morning the continue on their
journey north. They come across a broken wagon that seems to be the missing
caravan. The caravan is peppered with crossbow bolts that belong to the
Shan’di. In this caravan is a crate addressed to Josias. The group opens the
crate and it has what appears to be a white powder called “Whisp”.
